Originally started by Ben Wengrofsky in 1989, his son Jonathan currently operates the family business., Ben was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved his young family to Berkeley, California in 1975. Having a hard time finding a full time job, Ben’s wife Susan become the family’s main financial support. Ben become a stay at home dad, taking care of this two children, for the next 15 years. However, Ben decided to purchase a pick up truck to help support his family as well. Ben moved local East Bay residents for 14 years before becoming a Full Time business owner. In 1989 he officially open Ben’s Moving and operated it daily until his death in 2017. He started to groom his son Jonathan to take over the business in 1992.
